In combining experience with a passion for helping drivers overcome their individual barriers of concern or phobia Ms. Webster is second to none. Trust and rapport are fundamental to the success of her work in this specialized field.

 

Ms. Webster has designed the Remedial Driver Desensitization Program. (R.D.D.P) Victoria has written the Drive For Life Defensive Drivers Training Manual, also the Senior Driver Investment Program, a training concept designed to help seniors remain safe drivers while extending their independence. She is also a certified Life Skills Coach, Clinical Hypnotist, Driver Re-Training Consultant and Driving Instructor licensed with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, Ontario Safety League and Canada Safety Council

Graduating from Kikkawa College in 2005, he specialized in Swedish Massage, Suikodo - Shiatsu and Myofascial Release, all highly effective and easily adaptable modalities. Also, he incorporates Warm Stones within his treatments, as well.
He has had positive progress in treatments that that deal with: Neuro-Muscular disorders, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Scar Tissue, Arthritis, Fatigue, etc..

Dr. Yan Chen, M.D. (China), Ph.D. (Japan)

 

Frank Carone, Registered Massage TherapistDr. Chen is the director and founder of Qi Alternative Clinic, which offers Traditional Chinese Medicine holistic body care by providing Acupuncture, TuiNa (a Traditional Chinese deep tissue massage therapy), and Chinese herbal medicine .

 

Dr. Chen has been well trained in Western and Chinese Traditional Medicines in China and Japan. In 1984, he obtained his M.D. degree and worked as an Oncology and Orthopaedics surgeon in China, not only by performing surgeries and Western medicine treatments, but also combining the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medical treatments, like Acupuncture, TuiNa therapy and herbal medicine for post-operation treatments.

 

Dr. Chen also received his Ph.D. degree from Medical School of Tohoku University in Japan, performing clinical research on early Lung Cancer diagnosis. Previously, Dr. Chen has worked as a clinical research scientist for Computer Assist Orthopaedics Surgeries at Queens University, Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital for years. Dr. Chen is the member of The Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.


Scott Forbes, Motion Specialties, Kingston

 

Born and raised in Kingston, Scott started in the accessibility field in 1983. He worked in installations and service for many years and eventually started into sales. He left the industry for a brief 2 year stint as the captain of Kingston's Tall Ship the "St. Lawrence II. He returned to the accessibility industry once again and have been there continuously for the past 22 years.

 

Scott holds a commercial elevating device mechanics license class "E" and have been selling and installing commercial wheelchair lifts for the past 14 years.

 
 
Tracy Riley

 

Tracy RileyTracy Riley is a mental health professional who has extensive experience working with individuals in distress. She has many professional interests including special interests in trauma, emotion regulation, and the development and importance of self-compassion. She is also interested in the expressive arts and nature in relation to healing and wellness. She is deeply passionate about and committed to inspiring connections and to honouring the journey.

 

Tracy has written a resource guide for helpers on the topic of self-injury and has also co-authored a pamphlet for university students on the same topic. Tracy currently works in private practice with individuals and as a workshop facilitator and speaker. She is known for her compassion and authenticity.

Tracy has a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. From 2005 to present, Tracy has been registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is also registered as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. The fields of Expressive Arts and Outdoor and Experiential Learning have additionally influenced Tracy's engaging teaching style and work.


Kathleen Rochester, Occupational Therapist

 

Kathleen RochesterA registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for Driving, Kathleen's goal in involvement with Driving Rehab is to keep people safe on the roads. She is a member of the Association of Driving Rehabilitation Specialists and continually striving to further her knowledge and expertise in the field.
